8-Team Playoffs

The North, South, and West regions send their top conference champion to the playoffs and they also send their best “regional contender” as well (their highest BCS-ranked school). Those six schools make up the top six seeds. The remaining two playoff spots are given to the highest-ranked remaining teams.
